I have been embroidering since I can remember - seriously since my teens. I like to work on a variety of different things and this craving for variety is fueled by my membership in the Canadian Embroiderers' Guild of Guelph. My repertoire has expanded enormously as I am constantly learning new techniques. I now teach at this same guild, from time to time.
General inspiration from nature or people goes without saying. For inspiration about specific fibres and techniques I peruse stitching magazines and websites or look at other art forms.
The projects I have chosen to show on the website are the ones that I was able to photograph.
