This detail shows a block with lines of glass beads, some handmade Fimo beads, some black blocks surrounded by bullion stitch "legs", reverse applique on the silvery patches and the red patches, couched red perle cotton, and the hand-stitching which emulates the traces on the circuit boards. Each appliqued block is also quilted. The black block on the top right is smocked in black.
